A British couple are divorcing upon a wife’s discovery that her husband had been chatting up other women in the virtual world, Second Life. Her DJ character found her husband’s goatee toting, medallion wearing character having a romantic in game relationship and was crushed. The game allows players to do anything they can do in the real world, including hiring private detectives to catch their cheating virtual spouses in the act. The couple originally met in an internet chat room. Although the divorce is not yet finalized she has returned to her maiden name using deed poll.
